Gone Fishing

I've been a bit of a blogging slacker lately. There are many reasons for this 1. Life has been boring and I'm having a hard time coming up with things to write about 2. Though life has been boring, and has been anything but slow. It seems like there is never enough time to get everything done. But the biggest reason I haven't blogged in a while is because of these:

I am an Olympic junkie! I like any Olympics, but the winter are my FAVORITE! I am content to spend the evening curled up in my sweats and watching pretty much any event, with the exception of curling (though I am warming up to it). I find myself on the edge of my seat for pretty much every event, cheering for all the athletes. The things that they can do are incredible. Does anyone else find it incredible that skaters can jump (or be thrown) into the air, spin several times, and then land gracefully on a thin metal blade? I can't even jump off a ledge and land on both feet gracefully! And what about the snowboarding! Personally, I would rather ski, but it's so much fun to watch. I love it!

I am already dreading the time when the Olympics will end. It has added some nice variety these last few weeks!

I haven't watched more than 10 minutes of the Olympics at home, but on the day last week that I visited mom and grandma they shared the highlights of what they'd recorded the night before. Over two hours later I can totally see how one could become an Olympic junkie! :)

I too love watching the olympics. It's fun to have something good on tv for a while.

P.S. That comment from Stephen was really from Lacey... I bet you guessed that though. :)

Hey Katie! THANK YOU for your comment on my blog. That is so nice to hear! I haven't talked to anyone who has taken the PRAXIS II before, so all of my knowledge is based off of what the district has told me. All I can say now is "WHEW!"

Thanks again!
