I had this conversation with a little girl last week:
Me: Did any of you get to stay up late and celebrate the new year?
Class: YES!
Me: Did you whistle, and yell and bang pots and pans together?
Student: (amazed) You heard us?!?
Me: (smiling) Sure did!
Student: WOW!

I always love the things kids say! They make life interesting.
I love these posts about what your kids say. I've been telling my mom she should do the same thing (she teaches first grade) and then she could put them in a book. Keep writing them Katie!! You'll be glad you can remember them.
