While in the Brazil MTC I was lucky enough to have a companion who I got along with really well. We bring out the crazy side of each other! Last summer she came and visited, and this past week she came again. It is always so much fun to have her here!
We decided to do the same hike that we did last time she was here. We invited our friend Kim (who was also in the MTC with us) to come as well.
It would have gone well if Paula and I hadn't decided to take a "short-cut". It led us to a incredibly steep incline covered in gravel.
I need to learn to stop using short-cuts. They just don't work for me!
We made it. Eventually.
In my opinion, after a hike you deserve a smoothie. So that is just what we did!
Last year we went on a cheese tour. This year we went on an ice cream tour. It was much more tasty! We ended the tour with a complimentary scoop of ice cream. I chose my favorite (lemon custard) and Paula was smart enough to do the same! (I have spent the last half hour trying to flip this picture, and it won't work. So it is being posted upside down!)
We spent the rest of the week shopping, watching the American Idol finale, watching movies, and laughing a lot! It's so much fun when Paula comes to visit!

How fun! Where's Paula from? I've only seen one companion (other than reunions) - my favorite ones live pretty far.

What a fun week. It's a shame she doesn't live closer, she is such a sweet girl. I'm glad you guys had fun together though.
