Yesterday we visited the Moorish palace of Alambra. It was built in the 14th century, and the craftsmanship that you find in it is incredible! The walls/ceilings are covered with carved stone. The carvings are so intricate that I can’t imagine how they are done! The ceilings are all unique, and each have designs made out of stone/wood that leave you in awe!
While we were touring the palace a couple was having their wedding pictures taken inside. What a beautiful place to take wedding pictures! You would feel like a princess!
Just as incredible as the inside of the palace are the gardens that surround it. They are filled with more flowers than you can imagine! I had never seen a pale purple rose before!
Every time I visit these places I leave in awe of the amount of thought and hard work that had to take place for them to exist! They are truly works of art.
