Since I didn't have anything major planned for spring break, I decided to give myself the week off. I gave myself permission to be lazy. There were lots of things that I could have done, but I think I just needed a week to enjoy. While I didn't do anything of great importance, I did do LOTS of things!
I spent way more time then I ever get to with my nieces. It was fabulous!
I got together with friends I rarely get to see:
I went to Baby Animal Days with my family (thanks for the collage, Liz!)
Saw a hilarious Brazilian play, entirely in Portuguese (LOVED IT!) which meant I got to see Mari!
Celebrated Sandra's birthday, where matches were used like candles. Laughed like crazy.

It was a fantastic spring break, and I actually feel relaxed and ready to go back to school tomorrow. On to the last 7 weeks of school!
- Caught up on some much needed sleep, and went eight days without using an alarm clock
- Read a book that I have been meaning to get to
- Went to a movie with my mom
- Went shopping with my sister (and bought happy summer clothes!)
- Played with my new camera
- Forgot about school for NINE whole days
It was a fantastic spring break, and I actually feel relaxed and ready to go back to school tomorrow. On to the last 7 weeks of school!

A much needed break that you absolutely deserved! I'm glad that you had so much fun just taking the week off. Everyone deserves that now and then, but especially 1st grade teachers!!! :) (And yay for all of our cute new summer clothes!)

That is awesome that you completely relaxed the whole time. that is what spring break is for! That picture of us is really funny, Brynlee is like "ah come on!" she was asleep the second i started driving! so tired! that was so fun though!
