Playing with Aperture

Last week in my photography class we talked about aperture. We were given an assignment to take pictures at a 2.8, 8, and 16 aperture, then hand in one of each. I took my camera out for a little joy ride on Saturday to see if I could figure out the whole aperture thing. Baby animal days is NOT the place to try and figure out a camera, way too many people! However, I did get a few fun pictures. My problem is that ALL of the pictures I like were in 2.8. So I am going to hand in two pictures that I am not crazy about, and then I have pick one of the following to hand in. Help me pick, which you you like best?

Beautiful Brookie:

Adorable Ivy Belle:

Stubborn Maddie: (I really won't hand one of these in, but I felt so bad that I didn't get any good shots of her! She wanted NOTHING to do with the camera. Silly girl!)

So what do you think? Which one is best?

I vote the one of Brookie with Papa. I really like the one of Ivy w/ her Daddy in the back, but I think the one of Brooklyn and Dad is technically the best.

I have to agree that I really like the one of Brooklyn with her papa but I really like the one of Ivy with Steve in the background. I think that they both turned out cute.

I love the first two of beautiful Brookie! I love 2.8 apetures too - the smaller the number, the better for me! You are doing amazing!

While I love the one of Brooklyn and her grandpa, my vote is for the one of Ivy and Steve. I think it's great you caught him watching over her.
