One of my least favorite questions to be asked is this: What is your favorite book? The truth is, I have way too many to pick just one book. If I were to answer this question truthfully, it would lead to a very long conversation. There are SO many good books out there, and the type of mood I am in will determine the book that I want to read. Therefore, I think that it is impossible to pick just one favorite book. Today I am compiling a list of some of my (current) favorite books, by genres.
Book of Mormon book: The Book of Alma
Childrens Book: Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs - by Judi Barrett and Ron Barrett
Classic: The Scarlet Pimpernel - by Baroness Emmuska Orczy
Fantasy: The Hunger Games - by Suzanne Collins
Harry Potter: (Yes, in my world, Harry Potter gets it's own genre) Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (#4) - by J.K. Rowling
Historical Fiction: The Faith of our Father Series - by N.C. Allen
Mystery: On the Street Where you Live - by Mary Higgins Clark
Romance: Moonraker's Bride - by Madeline Brent
Science Fiction: Ender's Game - by Orson Scott Card
Young Adult: The Devil's Arithmetic - by Jane Yolen
I know that many of these books could fall into more than one category, but moving them to a different category would require me to give up another one of my favorites. If you are ever tempted to ask me what my favorite books is, keep in mind I will not have a short answer for you :-)

I am always looking for something good to read. Now I have a new list to choose from.
Thanks,
JoAnn
I have read nearly every book on that list and can honestly say that my list would be VERY similar to yours. I'm impressed that you can remember all these to write down, as I can never remember my favorite books when asked. Nice post idea!
I've actually read lots of those on your list... and you know me and reading.
Thank you for posting these, I'm excited to read some that I haven't!
I'm loving the Faith of our Fathers series. I hope your having a great break! :)
