I love birthday's! They are so fun. I spent part of the day figuring out some things in my new classroom with Laura (the teacher I will be teaching with). I get so excited to go into my classroom! I find it very exciting! Then Laura took me out to lunch and we got to chat, which was great!
Later, my wonderful family took me to dinner at an all time family favorite - Call's Drive In.
We have been going to Call's for as long as I can remember. Their hamburgers are great, their onion rings are heavenly. And their homemade root beer is about as good as it comes! Healthy? No. Worth it? Yes!
Maddie and Ivy liked the cupcakes best!

Hope you had a happy birthday! Good luck getting ready for your teaching job. The summer will fly by and you will be at school before you know it.
Calls was SOOOOO yummy... I think we should go again sometime this summer. Their root beer and burgers are heavenly. Your cupcakes were also wonderful, as the little girls can attest to. Such a fun idea for your birthday celebration this year. :)

It was a fun birthday party! Thanks for letting us be a part of it. It was fun to spend time with the people we love... and watch Maddie get pieces of onion and ketchup splashed on her head while you got rootbeer poured down your leg. Gotta love it. Happy Birthday!
Hmm Katie I have never even heard of Call's - perhaps we should go there one day. It sounds so good right now but I am currently locked away in a box and just waiting for time to fly.
Thanks for the details about the job. I think that will be fun. That'll be nice to have somebody to work with for the first few months. :)
