~ 24 ~

Since I am turning 24 today, I decide that I would post a list of 24 random facts about me. I am sure you are all so excited! Here goes!

1. I think shrimp is disgusting, but I wish I didn’t. I think that shrimp dishes are beautiful and would really like to be able to enjoy them! I eat a shrimp at least once a year to make sure I still don’t like them.
2. I generally flush public toilets with my foot.
3. When I was younger I thought the song ‘Truly, Madly, Deeply’, by Savage Garden said “I want to shave with you in the sea . . .” (it’s BATHE, if you were wondering)
4. I have a pretty sensitive sense of smell, which is funny considering my dad was born without a sense of smell.
5. I don’t like the smell of Febreze.
6. I love the smell of wet dirt.
7. The worst grade I have ever received was in a statistics class. I am no statistician.
8. The only time I spent my birthday at school was in 1^st grade. It was year round school.
9. One of my life ambitions is to eat at In-N-Out. My dad knows this and brought me a shirt from there once. Whenever I wear it people comment on how good the food is. One day!
10. Another life ambition is to be on the ‘Price is Right’ (I want to spin the wheel!)
11. I have pretty much the best family in the world!
12. During the summer I prefer to walk around with bare feet or Chaco’s. If possible, I would live like this all year!
13. I think one of the prettiest words in the English language is ‘Eloquent’.
14. My favorite German word is ‘Pampelmuse’. Two years of high school German, and this is the only word I remember! If we are ever wandering through Germany and you have a craving for grapefruit, I can help!
15. I watch the Food Network more than any other station on TV.
16. I love movie previews! Seriously, I can’t be late for a movie when I go to a theater because the previews are one of the best parts!
17. I would love to live in New York City or Washington D.C for a year or two.
18. I can’t handle having long fingernails. I keep mine pretty much as short as possible.
19. I am a super light sleeper. I grew up in front of a farm, so it was always silent (except for the occasional 'moo'). I had to wear earplugs through my entire mission so I could sleep at all!
20. I am a terrible present wrapper.
21. I once ran into a stop sign on my bike. I stopped.
22. I may be the only person who wishes school could start sooner! August seems so far away!
23. The oddest thing I have ever eaten was boiled bulls knees (it’s just the cartilage). It didn’t taste nearly as bad as it sounds.
24. Even though this is only my 172nd post, I already have the prize for my 200^th post giveaway, and have had since March. I’m a nerd!
