I'm shrinking!!!

Seriously! Last year when I was at the doctors office I was told that I was 5'3 1/4. I remember if vividly because the nurse measuring me seemed unusually excited about that last 1/4 inch, as if it changed everything. It made me giggle.

Yesterday I went in for a physical (turns out my insurance wants one yearly). They did all sorts of tests along with measuring me. The nurse informed me that I was 5'2 1/2. 5'2 1/2. Hmmmm. How does that happen? I'm guessing it has more to do with how I was measured than my actual height. Because if it is true that I am shrinking 3/4 of an inch each year, than in 20 years I will only be four feet tall.

On the upside, I learned that my cholesterol is excellent. Must be all those cheerios!

Well, maybe in a few years you'll be able to keep Selina company on her level at Sunday dinners. ;)

You will get more and more like your students, making it even harder to spot you in the room! haha

apparently we do shrink as we get older... but usually it is when we are much older :) haha

I blame it on the nurses, either one was trying to make you feel better one day or the other was trying to make you feel worse? I choose one was trying to brighten your day a couple inches at a time! By the way, since we commented on eachothers blogs...I think this means we are friends, not stalkers :)
