After a very, very long day of driving, we are back home. It is always nice to return home. I slept great in my own bed! However, there are a few things that I already miss about the Oregon Coast. Here are my top 5:
The Ocean
(Or as Maddie called it, Doshun)
The sound
The smell
Playing in it
Wish it was closer!

Blueberries
They taste different in Oregon!
So sweet & Perfect, I ate them every day!
I personally carried some home to enjoy here.
The Laid back Lifestyle
I know I couldn't live like that forever
but it was sure fun for a week!
I know I couldn't live like that forever
but it was sure fun for a week!
The Weather
It was perfect there - 60-65 degrees daily.
First rest stop on the drive home - 112 degrees.
Enough said.
The Girls
I know they really do live close
And I get to see them often
But not every day!
I got spoiled!
I may need to see if I can grow a blueberry plant in my backyard! Has anybody ever tried that?

I think you should try growing blueberries... but I haven't ever heard of people growing them here in Utah. Doesn't mean it can't be done though. It sure was fun getting to spend so much time with the whole family. Like you said, we do get to see eachother a lot but we don't ever get to spend quite so much time together. I'm grateful we all get along so well!!
Oh, I just saw your parents. I wish you would have been with them. I'll be gone for a week but then maybe we should try the next scone recipe out for size.
The weather was perfect, the lifestyle grand, the blueberries delectable, the ocean unspeakable beautiful, and the girls... well, they're the best around! What a fabulous vacation it was. Love that Oregon coast!
What a great trip you all had. I am glad you made it home safely and that you let me share with your memories through your blog!
Way fun! Those blueberries look amazing! I LOVE blueberries...if you figure out a way to grow them in your backyard, let me know! Yum!
I was just enjoying all your summer post that I missed during my blogging vacation! It looks like you had a seriously fun summer! Are you ready for school to start? I'm se excited for you! Fun times!
Looks like you had a fun trip. I was telling Rich about it and maybe since we are close to oregon that maybe we will go sometime. And I know what you mean about blueberries. Luckily we have a Blueberry farm only 15 mintues from our house. We are planning on going in a few weeks to pick them. And I think even tomorrow night we are making homemade blueberry ice cream.
Such a fun trip! I'm glad you could enjoy the lifestyle for a week. :) But WELCOME HOME!!! :D
Looks like you had so much fun, You got such great pictures!
