IT'S HERE!!! Yep, school is starting. The classroom is set up, the desks are ready, the lessons are planned (mostly). I think I am as prepared as I can be (since you can never be completely prepared!) I am to a point where I am more excited to start than I am scared. I will admit that I am more nervous for back-to-school night (tonight) than for the actual first day. I just want to meet my students!

Here's wishing you lots and lots of luck! Not that you need luck. You are super prepared and will do great. No doubt you dazzled the parents tonight and will charm your darling first graders on their first full day of school tomorrow. Enjoy the moment!

Good luck sister. This year is going to be great... I'm sure of it. Persoanlly I think you are doing it right by starting with another teacher too so you can ease into it a little bit more.

Good luck! We are in the middle of our parent conferences, too. It makes for really LONG days, but so far so good!
