My beautiful red purse (made out of a place mat, and super cute) had chocolate on it. I know, leave it to me to have chocolate on my purse! It needed to be washed, so I threw it in with my dark's today without a second thought. I had also missed a white sock when I did my white load, so I threw it in as well.
When I pulled out my load I was shocked to find one very pink sock, one blue/pink tye-dyed looking shirt, and some other pinkish tinged clothing. Since the shirt is an exercise shirt I think it looks kind of cool, but what on earth am I supposed to do with ONE pink sock?
So now I have a decision to make. These are the three options I have come up with:
- Throw the sock away. But the sock is still in perfect condition! Seems wasteful.
- Find some other red clothing and wash the twin sock (which is still white) to make it pink. I would most definitely wear pink socks.
- Leave the one sock pink and claim it as my "lucky sock" to use when I race.
What do you think I should do?

Personally, I'd go with a fourth choice and bleach the pink sock white again. But that's just me. I'm not one for wearing pink socks. I'm sure it could be a lucky racing sock though! ;)
5th choice-- use the sock as a rag. That's what I do with old or holey ones :)
I think that you should use it as a lucky sock, or you can make the other one pink and make them both your lucky socks.

i'm really, really sorry that the purse i made did that. oopsy poopsy. just keep it as it is. and can you wear your shirt when we go running?
you should make it your luck sock for sure.
I vote for two pink socks. A lucky sock that looks different might make you self conscious and that would cancel out any luck you might have. Of course, you know how hard it will be to get two even colored pink socks!
I'd go with leaving the one sock pink and the other white - it's a conversation piece if nothing else. And I think it's kinda cool! :D
I think I would go with the option of just wearing one pink sock and one white sock Like Adelle said. Maybe you could start a new trend.
