It took me a while to track down this picture, so this post is quite belated, but I still need to write about it! About a year and a half ago I was called to serve as our ward's Relief Society president. I was completely overwhelmed but excited for the opportunity. I was blessed tow work with three of the cutest girls ever - Kandi, Jami and Kallie. We are all SO different and really worked well with each other. Kandi is so quiet and calm. Jami is very aware of others and their needs. Kallie has more energy and spunk than anyone I have ever met! Our "meetings" became longer and longer as we became great friends and ended up talking more and more! At the beginning of March we were released. Jami was getting married, so the bishop decided it was time. Which was good, because I couldn't even imagine trying to replace Jami! It was very bittersweet! It was a truly amazing experience, with many ups and downs, and I will be forever grateful for the opportunity and for the friends that I made!
