Those of you who see me very often may have noticed that I rarely wear jeans. In reality, almost never. It's not that I don't like jeans, it's just that finding a pair of jeans that fit me is like finding a needle in a haystack. I am not a big fan of shopping for clothes, but I find shopping for jeans especially miserable!
I am built funny. And I am short. These two facts combined make it hard to find pants. I also prefer jeans with high waists because they tend to fit better, but few stores carry high waisted jeans. I usually end up shopping for a few hours, getting frustrated, and give up. I have been looking for jeans for a long time. I have not had a pair of jeans that actually fit me since I have been home from Brazil.
Until today. My sister found a pair of jeans that she liked at Sam's Club (who would have thought?) they came in a few different colors and so she bought two pairs. I tried them on earlier this week, and though I loved them, they weren't my size. Lacey told me she had looked for them in my size when she was there, but she hadn't found any.
Yesterday she was back in Sam's Club and she checked again. This time they had my size! She bought two pairs for me to try. She brought them over today AND THEY FIT. It is seriously a miracle. They need to be hemmed slightly, but that is easy enough to fix. Here are some of the reasons I love these jeans:
- They are high waisted. It's fantastic.
- They come in two fabulous colors.
- They are $20 a piece. For Calvin Klein jeans. Does it get any better?
- They aren't "distressed". I know that some people can pull off that look, but I am not one of them.
- THEY FIT!!!
- They are figure flattering.
- They are the only jeans I have found in years that I would actually choose to wear.
I am so excited to finally have jeans that work! I can't wear them very often (because I have to dress nicer for school) but I will look forward to wearing my jeans on weekends. Thanks Lacey! You're the best!

Those are very cute. I'm glad you found some that fit. It really is hard to find jeans that are just right but a simple hem is easy enough to make those work. Yay!
I'm so jeolous. I don't think I will ever have a pair of pants that fit me perfectly but I really like them on you. I'm glad Lacey found them in the right size.
Yay for perfect jeans! They really do look great on you. I'm celebrating them on my blog today as well. Seriously, who would have thought to look at Sam's Club??? :)
That's so funny. The jeans I blogged about are from Sam's too. (But they are a different brand.) Jeans that fit are worth their weight in gold, aren't they?
Yeah! I, too, HATE shopping for jeans. My problem is a little waist and a large bottom and thighs. Alas. So - I'm happy for you. They look CUTE on you!
