I have been having a hard time getting out of bed lately. Big time. It is beginning to cause problems in my life. This morning I was suppose to be going with my ward to the temple. My alarm went off at the right time, I just didn’t get up. By the time I finally jumped out of bed, I was late. I took a quick shower, threw on some nylons and a dress (quicker then trying to find a shirt/skirt combo) and ran upstairs. As I was running upstairs I noticed a strange feeling in the toe of my nylons. When I looked to see what it was I discovered a paperclip, inside my nylons! Seriously, how did that happen? Paperclips don’t just magically appear in hosiery!
By this point I was really late so I had an important decision to make. I could either 1)- Take my nylons off, remove the paperclip, put them back on and leave (It takes me a while to get nylons on) or I could 2)- leave the paperclip there, inhale a quick breakfast and leave. I did not have time to do both. It was a very easy choice to make. Can you guess what I did?
I’ll give you a hint – I did not go hungry this morning!

That is so funny. You have the most funny things happen to you. The paperclip must of followed you home from school.
I love the pictures of her wedding. You looks so cute. Your dress and hair are so pretty. That is exciting that she got married. I remember you always talking about her.
Hahahahahahahaha oh my goodness that is so funny! You make me laugh. I really wonder where it came from????
Super funny. I must admit...I hate nylons. Now I have a new reason not to wear them. Mom:"Why don't you just wear nylons?" Me:"Because I don't want to be stepping on a paperclip all day." I'll stick with my knee-highs (and footies, weather permitting). Hope you had fun at the temple!
Hey girl! It has been way too long since I have had time to sit and read blogs - I have to say I had such and enjoyable time reading all your posts I have missed! Seriously, your blog is so entertaining! You should consider writing a book! :)
Hey, as I was reading your post about interviewing I got thinking about my personal favorite school - Summit! Have you interviewed there, or would you be interested in interviewing there? If you want or need, I still stay in contact with the principal (Trudy is awesome to work for!) and would be willing to jet her an email recommending she pull your file for an interview. Just a thought...let me know!
Keep up the awesome posts and I'll make sure to check back more often! :)
I love it! I once found a sock stuck in my pant leg. I guess we just get in a hurry (or it could just be too early when we dress!)
Random! How on earth did that happen? That would only happen to a teacher, don't you think? :)
I would have totally gone for breakfast too. Hope the paperclip didn't hurt!
I would have chose breakfast too! seriously hilarious post! I can just imagine your face when you found it! Priceless.
