Seeing how I am not a fan of feet, I never thought I would post a picture of mine on the internet! However, today I went over to my friend Holly's house, and we made our toenails glittery. I love to paint my toenails, but usually during the winter they are neglected. Apparently you can have your toenails glitterized at the salon, but it costs a pretty penny. Holly figured out a way to get the same effect for just pennies!
First you fold a piece of paper in half, reopen it and put your foot on top of it. Then you paint your big toe with clear nail polish. Liberally pour glitter (found at the beauty supply store for $1) over your toe. Shake off excess onto the paper. Continue until all toes are glittery. Then shake the glitter on your paper back into the bottle. Wait for the polish to dry, and cover with another 1-2 coats of clear polish as needed. If you want to add more glitter you can, but I found 1 layer to be plenty!
It looks awesome, and I feel like I really pampered myself. The best thing is that it was so easy! Thanks, Holly! This idea is a keeper!
