Last weekend I went to Bear Lake with my ward. It has been SO HOT the last few weeks, I thought it would be fabulous to go and play in the water. However, the day we went ended up being SO COLD! I try to be tough in most situations, but I am the first to admit that I am a cold water wimp. It is one of the few things that I just wont do. So I stayed on the shore for most of the time, and enjoyed riding on the boat a little as well.
I don't even need to go water skiing, I love riding on boats! I find it very relaxing. While I was not open to the idea of actually getting in the water myself, Abby and I sat and cheered Bethany on as she got into the very cold (and very choppy) water to wake board.
She's such a trooper!
Later on it warmed up, which I was extremely grateful for! We lounged on the beach, played in the sand, and enjoyed a day away.
I was even made into a octopus. I felt like I was five again when my parents would make me into a mermaid. Oh the joys!
I love summer!
*UPDATE* I forgot to put this in, but Eric is doing really well. In fact, you would never know that something happened if you weren't told. He can't lift anything, drive, or put his hands over his head for a few weeks, but then he will go back to normal life. Thank goodness for good health care! Thanks for all the prayers!

Bear Lake is a beautiful lake even when it is cold. I'm all for staying dry, too!
haha, I love the octopus. I've never thought of doing something like that. Pretty funny.
You need to do a post on how your brother is doing. I keep wondering if he is ok. Glad you had fun on the lake.
Looks fun! And we all need to feel like we're five again every once in a while. :)
