School doesn’t even start until the end of August, but the dreams (or nightmares) have already started. Last week I had a dream that I was running into school for a meeting. I was wearing a huge t-shirt, running shorts, and knee socks (because that would DEFINITELY be appropriate for a meeting!?) But when I got inside it was actually Back-to-School night! There sat all of the parents of my students, and I was dressed for a soccer game. Plus, I was not prepared at all. I was mortified! I was so grateful to wake up!
Can’t wait to see what my dreams will be like the week that school actually starts! YIKES!

I still have dreams about losing my students, or not being able to find my lessons and having nothing for them to do!

hahaha that's funny. This really is Liz. I hate those type of dreams! They are soooo real, and soooo not fun!
LOL. My mom says that even after 20 years of teaching she still has dreams that she gets to school and no other teachers are there and the kids are all outside running in the street. Hopefully yours are few and far between.
Personally I think you would look stunning in knee socks and shorts at Back to School night. ;)
Lol. Sorry - I know that's not fun, but it is a funny dream. I haven't been having nightmares (yet - keep my fingers crossed) but I think that's cause I'm teaching right now. I'm certainly going to get REAL nervous come the beginning of August when I realize I only have a couple weeks til school starts.
