4th of July Weekend

I love the 4th of July! It is such a great holiday, and a wonderful reminder of how blessed we are to live in the USA. And since the 4th fell on a Saturday this year, there was lots of time to play!

This weekend I . . .

Hiked along some GORGEOUS cliffs with my dad, and enjoyed the fact that the canyon is still so green, thanks to all that rain!

Watched fireworks with my family on Thursday, and friends on Friday. Consumed lots of sugar!

Took advantage of some AWESOME sales and bought a new pair of hiking boots! They are lightweight super comfy, and they were 50% off! Happy day! Anyone want to go hiking?

Made a new four legged friend. Isn't she beautiful? I was tempted to name her Galileo and bring her home with me!

Played with fireworks!

Most attractive moment of my lifetime!

It was a weekend filled with lots of fireworks, and lots of fun! I hope you all had a fantastic 4th of July weekend as well!

How fun! That hike looked beautiful! Sometimes I really miss Logan. :( All the fireworks looked like tons of fun. And I agree with Lacey - your hair looks really cute all curly. :) Glad you had a fun weekend and congrats on finding new boots on sale!

All I can say is... you've gotta love fireworks! What a fun weekend. We missed being here for the firework shows this year, but I'm glad you had lots of fun. I love the picture of you and your dad ready to light!

Looks like you had a fun holiday. Those fireworks are pretty -up close. After my experience I'll take them from across the field!

Cute pictures! Looks like a fun weekend! Are those REAL fireworks that you were doing? Sweet! I did take those pictures...I just slowed my shutter speed way down and put my camera on a tripod! It worked wonders and it was way fun! Happy late 4th!
