It's so cold.
Red nose, teeth-chattering, painful fingers kind of cold
Slippery roads, icy walks, door-frozen-shut kind of cold.
Ears burning, nose-hair freezing, shivering kind of cold.
I wore a hat today.
I never wear hats.
But it is so cold.
Toe numbing, runny eyes, dreaming of a beach kind of cold.
BRRRR!

*I know that some of you will give me grief about the whole nose-hair freezing thing. But anyone who has been spent a morning in ridiculously cold weather has experienced this!

Katie! I love your blog!! I thought I had a link to it on my page and when I went to it it was NOT your blog! crazy. anyway I think I got that all straightened out. I know how you feel with the nose hair cold and the chill right to your bones. Logan is freezing. I love your hair by the way, its so long and Gorgeous!
Sunday night it was so totally cold and I asked Steve if he nose hairs were freezing. He had no clue what I was talking about! But I hear you all right, it really is that cold! (BTW: I really like your cover you designed for your book. Can't wait to see what it looks like in the end!)

SAD! I remember that feeling - standing out at recess was the worst! :) We are in the 60s here in Memphis, not too shabby! At least you look good while enduring it! :)
I'm here in California near the ocean and it was very cold here Monday. I remember walking from my car into work thinking "where are my gloves?" My hands were painfully cold when I got inside. I used warm water to defrost them! Stay warm, Katie, by drinking some lovely hot cocoa!
