I am a huge lover of holidays, including Valentine's Day! Yes, I am totally single, and I still love the day! I know that seems to be a contradiction, but I believe that everyone should get to enjoy the day of love, even if they don't necessarily have a significant other.
Things that made my day Oh-So-Happy:
A room full of 6 year old's, all dressed up and bursting with excitement!
Ooodles of love notes from 1st graders
I wear a dress to school on Valentine's Day.
It's the only day that happens.
One little boy saw me and said "Wow, teacher! You look GOOD!"
Hahahaha!

The totally unexpected (and gorgeous) roses that showed up at school
A happily decorated door when I got home
A Relief Society Activity at my house for all the single sisters of the ward
(HUGE success, and so much fun!)
The two little boys sent by the Elders Quorum who showed up with roses and ring pops for all.
Seriously, such a happy day!

What a fun day of love that you had! Nothing better than lots of love letters from first graders... unless it's lots of love letters from first graders AND a dozen beautiful roses delivered to you! ;) Ivy had fun with your door again, so I'm glad you liked it. And I'm so glad your party was a success... the roses and ring pops look like they were a hit (what cute little future-missionaries your delivery guys were!) Hooray for Valentine's day!!!
Those flowers are beautiful! And i love that your students are hitting on you :) Glad your day was wonderful and I'm glad you enjoy the holiday. It always bothered me that people don't think it's possible to enjoy the day if you are single. I have always used it as an excuse to let the kid in me shine through. :) I also love the roses and ring pops from the boys. That is so sweet.
