Do you ever have days when you wonder if everyone else does such ridiculous things? Wednesday was one of those days for me!
On Wednesday I was in the workroom during my prep hour making copies. A PTA parent and the computer teacher came in and grabbed a huge bowl of snacks from the fridge. We had the following conversation:
Me: Yum! I want to come wherever you are going!
Parent: You mean to the 5th Grade maturation program?
Me: Um, never mind! Totally not worth it!
They then continued out the door and down the hall laughing all the way.
Later that same day I parked my car next to a HUGE truck. I got out and opened my back door to grab something out of my backseat. When I turned around I smacked my head (hard) into the mirror on the truck I had parked beside. I grabbed at my injured head and laughed at myself a bit. Then a horrible thought hit me - what if I had cracked their mirror?!? I quickly returned to investigate and was horrified to see a thin, dark line running up the mirror. However, my concern was quickly dismissed when upon further investigation I noticed the line was actually kind of auburn colored. Yes, I had knocked the mirror so hard that my hair, which was in a very tight ponytail, stuck to the mirror!
I not only ran into a parked car, I RAMMED into a parked car! Good grief! Who does that?
Two moments of hide-your-face-in-embarrassment moments in a day! Woo Hoo!

Ok seriously. This just made my day. That was hilarious! Sorry about your head though... :)
I was laughing out loud picturing you smacking your head on the mirror... only because you were laughing telling the story, of course. :)
