- Candy Corn is still absolutely scrumptious.
- Halloween has the ability to make students very, very hyper.
- Striped tights are pretty much the coolest thing ever. If I thought I could get away with it, I would wear them to church tomorrow!
- If you are going to have to wear a costume to school all day, and then to a dance, make sure it is comfortable.
- Check the weather forecast before settling on a costume idea so that you won't freeze to death.
- Children really will throw up if given too much candy.
- No matter how cute shoes are, and how well they go with your costume, don't wear them to a dance if you can't handle wearing them all night.
- There is a line dance for every song. And if there isn't, somebody at a dance will make one up.
- Have you ever seen a first grader trying to do jumping jacks? That is what I look like while trying to do a line dance. (I caught a girl behind me trying to follow my lead. Poor girl)
- Children's enthusiasm for Halloween is contagious and magical.

You are the cutest witch I have ever seen!
(And I sure hope you didn't have to experience the candy throw-up incident first hand.)
Looks like you survived your first school Halloween! Yes, children can be very hyper on Halloween (and Christmas)! Good luck with the next holiday, too.
I'm in love with your green and black tights! :)
I really love your costume. Those tights are the coolest! And your color scheme was fantastic. Everything sounds wonderful... minus your student throwing up after too much candy! :) It was a fun Halloween!
I love your costume! I didn't get to see the full thing last night... but you definitely look cute :)
I love everything about this post. It just made me happy to read. (Except for maybe the kid that threw up and your sore feet.) Happy Halloween! Now let's make some scones. This week looks pretty open.
You are so stinking cute!! I need your email address so I can invite you to my blog! :) - I miss you!!
