YAY! Spring Break has arrived! It started yesterday, and goes through next Monday. It's funny, because since I got the Elementary School's spring break, and not the University's, Spring Break falls about three weeks before graduation :) Oh well, I appreciate it anyway! I have had a growing list of to-do's so I am going to keep myself busy. Here is my list of things to do over spring break:
10. Pick up my cap and gown.
so exciting!!!!
9. Do some major cleaning
Though I tend to be a clean freak, cleaning gets neglected when school is busy. It is time to catch up.
8. Cook
I have had little time for cooking lately, and I miss it. Hopefully I will make up a nice batch of Beans & Rice, and some Cinnamon Rolls. YUM!
7. Put together a 72 Hour Kit
I have known this needed to be done for a while, and the food part is taken care of (Thanks Lace and Liz!) I just need to put the rest of it together so that in the case of an emergency I don't get stuck without underclothes or toilet paper.
6. Running
I haven't run in far too long. And I want to run outside. If the weather cooperates, I will have a chance!
5. SLEEP!!!!
I have not gotten nearly enough sleep over the past few weeks, and I am THRILLED to be able to sleep eight hours. Yippee! It feels fantastic!
4. Figure out my new Ipod
It is silver. And Pretty. And I love it. Problem is, I don't know how to use it. Technology and I are not very good friends. Hopefully I can get enough music on it to use it for running when I get to go!
3. Visit with friends
It has been great!
2. Read a Book
I haven't read in a while. I have had the same book sitting by my bed for a month, and I haven't even opened it yet! Hopefully, this weekend.
1. Finish up my portfolio so that I can GRADUATE!
I spent all day yesterday working on my portfolio. It was a pain, but at 11:00 last night I FINALLY finished it!!! It is DONE. Not the funnest way to spend the first day of spring break, but I never have time to work on it when school is in, and without it I can't graduate. So the fact that it is done relieves a huge amount of pressure!!! Hooray!
Hope you all have a fabulous weekend as well!
:)

Way to keep busy during spring break! Congrats on finishing your portfolio- that it a huge thing! You definitely deserve a treat for that. Have fun reading, running, sleeping, cooking, playing, cleaning, and all that other fun stuff. :)
I loved your list of things to do. We could use a lot more time than an extended weekend, couldn't we? Good luck with your list. I still haven't satisfied my craving (thanks to your last blog) for cinnamon rolls. I might just have to sneak to a bakery, although they are never as good as homemade ones!
Haha, sorry... that last comment was from me but under my mom's screen name! We are at my parents' house this weekend... I thought I would just redo it.
Anyway, that sounds like a lovely list. I hope you enjoy getting all that stuff done. It was fun to see you yesterday. Love ya!
I'm on Spring Break too! My number one excitement - sleeping past 7. :D I hope you have/are having TONS of fun! Good luck on the portfolio!
Hurray! Graduation!!!! We are so excited for you!
