YIKES! What a weekend! Let see if I can give the condensed version.
Friday - 3/28 Happy Birthday Mom! The day started with school & work, then ran home for a surprise quick birthday lunch for my mom. We then spent the rest of the afternoon/evening packing, and cleaning. That night we went to a baby shower for Lacey (my niece is going to be one well dressed little girl!). Went to bed (in the old house) around midnight.
Saturday – 3/29 The real moving began. We started VERY early and spent the day doing more packing and cleaning. Around 10:30 about half of my singles ward showed up to help us move. It was so nice! About 6:00 we freaked out when we realized that there was no way that we were going to finish everything that needed to be done. Midnight, I threw my mattress on the floor (of the new house) and fell asleep.
Sunday – 3/30 HAPPY BIRTHDAY BIL! Woke up early to prepare a talk on ‘the Gift of Repentance’. Went to my parents ward to hear them speak one last time in their old ward, then I went to my ward to speak. I left early so that I could go and talk to a class of 7 year olds about being a missionary (SO CUTE!). After church I went to the old house to pick up our cats. I put them both in a box, and the box in the car. It only took about 3 minutes for them to get out and climb on my lap, demanding attention. I looked like a crazy cat woman driving down the street.
Monday – 3/31 4:30 AM, woke up to go and finish cleaning out the house. Left at about 7:00 to get ready for school and finish my Portuguese paper. Fell asleep at the institute building, so I had a beautiful mark on my forehead for a while. Spent the afternoon trying to catch up on all of the homework I have neglected. Also realized that I can not find one of my textbooks. It is in a box, somewhere. But the day was awesome, because we officially closed on BOTH houses! So we are no longer with one foot in each.
So that was my weekend. I am super, super tired but glad that the biggest part of the move is behind us! We are still living amid a bunch of boxes and furniture parts, but it’s nice to be in our new home!

I am glad that you made it through. Sounds like it was a lot of work. I wish I could of been there to help you out. I can't believe they made you talk in church when all that was going on. Crazy
