Just Some Things

Best Thing About Moving:

I never thought we lived far away from town. I could leave my house and within 20 minutes be at school or work, and it was a pretty nice drive. But I have to tell you, moving closer to town has been AWESOME! It now only takes me 10 minutes to get to school/work, meaning I can sleep in a extra 10 minutes! It also means I use A LOT less gas! I use to go through a tank every two weeks, and this tank has lasted me three weeks. As gas prices continue to climb, this makes me a very happy girl!

Worst thing about moving:

Beyond the cop who camps on the street outside my neighborhood . . . the light switches. Sounds silly, but the house has SO MANY! It takes me a few tries before I can get the right one on. My bathroom has six. Yes, six switches, in a bathroom! They are placed in sets of two strategically around the room. I can never seem to find the one I need. I am sure I will get use to it with time.

Some Happy Things:

I washed my car for the first time yesterday! It was so nice and warm, and my car looks so nice and pretty and shiny. Its been fun. However, it is suppose to snow today. So much for my nice clean car.

My Mom and SIL were shopping on Saturday and found a pair of shoes that they thought I would like (My SIL has a similar pair, and I am always stealing them), and they were on a super sell, so they bought them. And I LOVE them! They are cute and comfy, and look like this . . .

Hope you all have a great day!

Dude I would give my left kidney for gas prices to be that low. Right now, for regular unleaded it's a WHOPPING $3.60!

Believe me I cry, oh how I cry. And it's only projected into getting worse when the summer hits. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! *CIRES* It costs $63 bucks to fill our van up with regular unleaded crappy gas. However I hear ya, living a little closer makes the pocket book more happy.
