After only a few days of practice it was time for our first performance. We were all very excited to put on our costumes and see the show come together.
This is Tiffany and I giving a preview of what our dances look like in the show. Her dance is all graceful and flowy. Mine is very sharp and jerky.
One of my head dresses had skulls on it. I also had little skulls hanging from the bottom of my skirt. They were kind of fun (though the head dress gave me a head ache, so I only wore it for the one scene)
Everybody is ready! (and looks fantastic!)
The Harvest Scene Group:
The Harvest Workers of stage four:
Nephite Campfire Dancers (Stage 2)
Ready to roll!
After taking lots of pictures, we were ready to head out into the audience to welcome them.
We had so much fun meeting new people and sharing our testimonies of the gospel. At 9:15 sharp we headed backstage and the Hill Cumorah Pageant began.
I don't really have pictures of us doing the actual performances (seeing as how I was always onstage or backstage) so this will have to do. It was so much fun to have it all come together and to feel the audiences energy as we performed. It was a wonderful night, and made me look forward to the next 6 performances!
