Today I am thankful to have my family so close. I have been blessed with an incredible family. I consider my siblings to be my closest friends, and love spending time with my family. I love having everyone so close. I literally live five minutes away from my parents (if you hit the light when it is red) and about 15 from Lacey and Steve. Karl and Liz live just over an hour away, which is not to shabby either. I love having my family near!
Earlier this week my mom told me to come and grab some dinner. She sent me on my way home with not one, but THREE complete meals for both me and my roommate. She rocks. Very fortunate for me, since at this point I do not enjoy cooking for myself. I have eaten better this week than I have in quite a while!

Have you ever been given a start for Amish Friendship Bread? I have, on several occasions. I had never actually tasted it, though, since I usually forget about it and have to throw it out. I was given a start a few weeks ago, but it conveniently lived at Lacey's house, where it was well cared for until it was time to bake (which she did also) . I came home from school on Monday, and was thrilled to find my very own loaf of Amish Friendship Bread, along with another start for me to care for. The bread is DIVINE! Now that I know what it tastes like, pretty sure I am going to take very good care of the start.

Mmmmmm, I love the yummy Amish Friendship Bread!!! I'm so excited to get to bake it again in a few days. :) And so nice of Mom to send you and Ashley dinners for a few days... can't beat that! :) And just FYI: your family is very thankful that you live so close, too. :)
