I was grocery shopping the other day when I saw a tray of samples. I love samples. I think they make shopping so much fun! The lady in charge of the table was telling another customer about the product as I reached for a piece of chicken on a toothpick. She held up her hand and said,
"Wait, are you over 16? Anyone under 16 must have a parent with them"
She was totally serious. I started laughing. I laughed and laughed. Then I thanked her for making my day before assuring her that I was over 16, and enjoying my skewered chicken.

That's actually really awesome! Way to be youthful!!! And I'll take that as a compliment too, as people say we look so much alike. ;)
Lol! Pretty awesome. I totally know what you mean about the end of the year being a hard time - hand in there....we've almost survived our first year! :D Hooray! I LOVE all the sweet things you got for teacher appreciation. Alas, in high school, there are ZERO gifts. :( So - I'm just a tad jealous. But, since I know you are a FABULOUS teacher, the gifts are all well deserved. I'm glad you have some great parents!
What a nice compliment! How do your student's parents feel leaving their kids with another kid? Ha!
haha that's funny. Pretty sure that would never happen to me. My problem was I always got accused of being a lot older than I am.
good thing you laughed and laughed! Had you sat and said, I promise I am! she would have probably not believed you! that is awesome! you do look young, whats your secret?:)
