This weeks was one of those weeks where you just hold on and hope for the best. It has been crazy, and busy, and many times frustrating. However, it was also Teacher Appreciation Week. I think I may have the best Room Mothers in the whole world. They worked so hard and really made it a special week. They went way above and beyond. They spoiled me like crazy. Every day I thought "Really, there can't be more!" and yet there was.
I was given all sorts of plants. They must have known that I have been thinking about growing something so that I could feel like I was nurturing something! There were tulips, another kind of flower that I don't know the name of, a potted houseplant, and a tree. Yes a tree. A Hibiscus tree to be more exact. I am hoping I can learn enough about plants to keep all these beauties alive!
One day a set of hangers showed up in my box in the Faculty Room. It had this cute note on it:
One day I had this sign hanging over my door:
with a whole bunch of Easter Eggs filled with notes from my students, and LOTS of candy!
There was also a bag of Bliss Chocolates. Divine.
This was one of my favorites. A little boy gave it to me yesterday, and I LOVE it! How creative!
They also made me an adorable book, however this post is already long enough as it is, and the book deserves a post of it's own! Stay tuned!
It definitely left me feeling very appreciated, and sad that in three short weeks I will send these cute little kids on to second grade. It also gave me some things to fill my new house with! I may not have much, bit I will have plants, and hangers! YAY!
