I drew Lacey's name for Christmas this year. I wanted to get her something unexpected. Something fabulous. Something that would make her super happy (because she is pretty much the greatest sister ever, so she deserves a fabulous gift). I pondered on what to get her for a long time. You may be wondering how I could have pondered a long time when it is only November. Steve has been wanting to draw names since August. Anyway, I thought long and hard about what to get her. Then one day, while I was doing my hair, it hit me. I had come up with the perfect gift idea for Lacey.
At that point it was just an idea. It took several weeks of internet shopping to find what looked like exactly what I wanted. It looked perfect. I ordered it and anxious awaited its arrival. It came today. I immediately suspected something was wrong when I saw the box, and the size of the box. When I saw it I looked something like this:

What I thought would be the perfect Christmas present was NOT at ALL what I thought I had ordered. In fact, every person who has seen it so far has laughed. Hard. My Grandma thought I had bought it off of e-bay (used) and commented that it must have been somebody's white elephant. It could be, but since I bought it new, I doubt it.
So now I have to figure out how to return this thing, and a new gift for Lacey! Any ideas?

Seriously Katie! Don't keep us in such suspense! I want to know what it was! I had to read it twice to see if I missed anything but it turns out that there was nothing there to miss! Tell us what it was! PLEASE!

I was already interested, but now I'm beyond curious! Tell me, tell me, tell me! What exactly is this mystery gift? (Steve may be able to help you figure out how to return it). And those pics of you and Maddie's matching faces are HILARIOUS! :)
I dying to know....what was it??? And what SHOULD it have beem??? Good luck with shopping....the people we love tend to be hard to shop for.
Aren't you SO GLAD you ordered it early so you have enough time to figure out something else?
